Keep in mind I am 17 years old and this has been happening for as long as I can remember ( as long as I have been alive ). Nothing is really wrong, sometimes it worries me after the one week mark but that is all. I have taken laxatives and fiber and all that and sure they help the problem after 1-2 days of use but seriously, I cant use laxative the rest of my life and fiber pills cost a shit load. Should I be concerned or just let my body do its thing once a week? Also when I do go my BMs are very large, like above the water in the toilet and I have to plunge every time. Sorry if gross just trying to describe the best I can. Thanks in advance for advice.

I just bought this artichoke capsules at pharmacy. It stated that the pills helps to maintain a healthy digestive system. Anyone try tiz kind of pills b4? any benefits from it? will it helps in preventing constipation?

the over the counter ones but they don’t have DHA in them. Any suggestions on over the counter DHA pills?

I’m lactose intolerant, and supposedly have digestive problems but I still haven’t seen a doctor. I’ve tried laxatives, fiber supplements, lactaid free foods, eating healthier, and gas pills but nothing seems to make it stop.

My stomach gets all bubbly and feels like it’s a lava pit. I get bloated, and it even makes noises when under pressure. I’m tired of having to deal with my upset stomach.

i’ve tried prunes, apples, fiber cereal and even a vegetable laxative in pill form but im lookin for something else because the pills bother me and the fruits and fiber arnt working…

I went to the store and went on a vitamin/mineral supplement pill buying spree and want to make sure its ok to take alot of pills everyday or not. Here is a list of what I have in pills/capsules:
beta carotene, magnesium, milk thistle, zinc, garlic, SAMe, b100, saw palmetto, eye formula with lutein, blueberry antioxidant, and o-calcium. I know that’s alot, which is why \’m asking. Or would it be better on my health to not take them?

wat would be better to lose weihgt wiht ((not healthier))…

I have to take pills now — fiber diet, etc doesnt’ work. But I am growing tolerant of the pills & there is less effects. I have no insurance….any insight? Is there an instant poop pill for each day?

ill be 19 august 11th and i just started college (took a year off) i have a job and a car (not that helps much) and ive been with my bf for a year, hes got an almost 3 year old daughter with his ex (he didnt leave her, she left him). my mom was a teen mom as well, she had my brother when she was 20 so i think she would be understanding…. its just pretty overwhelming.

idk if i am yet, will take a test sometime this week, missed two pills, and now am having symptoms.
-constipation
-nauseous
-headaches
-sore boobs
-tired a lot
-moody

& im not having these because i missed pills or had to double up because this has never happened to me before because of that.
there is a planned parenthood minutes away from me, but i would much rather take a test in the privacy of my own home. i havent even told my bf yet because im not sure and i dont want to stress him out over nothing. i know he would be supportive and happy(just because its a child that is half him and i know how much he loves his daughter), but i also know it wont be easy and that i will need A LOT of help from my parents. im mature enough to admit all of that and admit that i did mess up. my period is due tomorrow so when would the most accurate time to take a test be?
trying to think positive: i work @ baby gap… so i would get good discounts.

vet just found a heart murmur and kidney failure. he is doing a urine test and culture tomorrow to determine exactly how bad the kidney failure is, but he believes it is just starting and is mild and can be easily treated. this opinion is based on a blood test.

the only problem the cat has is constipation from the kidney failure dehydrating her.

i questioned the vet on treating her, because of her age and i thought kidney failure could not be treated. he said she is not too old and mild kidney failure can be easily treated, it could be several years before the kidney failure degrades to the point where she cant be helped.

she is active and happy.

i dont have a problem with treating a cat, if the treatment will give her several happy years, but im not going to keep her alive it she is not happy.

has anyone ever heard of kidney failure being treated?

she has always been on a mostly canned food diet. i do leave a bowl of dry out all day.

i fed her the cheap, made in china stuff ,for most of her life, not realizing how bad it was. she now gets "instinct" brand. 95 % meat, no grains.

i will wait to see the results of the test and what vet recommends, but i already know, she will not tolerate injections, IV’s or even pills.
i got her when she was 8 months old, had just weaned her first litter, had many, many owners, and was abused. those scars are still with her, she is a great cat, unless she is in pain, then she hurts you. giving her injections, IV’s and pills all count as pain.

My mother suggested taking 2 magnesium capsules and break them open in some milk. I cannot take pills due to some swallow issues will her idea work?

I am on Ortho Lo but I was worried I was pregnant because I missed one pill. I got my period, but it was short- so I took a test that said Negative. 2 weeks later I was feeling constipated and bloated, took another test, Negative. Since then it has been almost 2 months and I have gotten my period twice since then, although it was a little shorter than normal. I am still taking BC pills, and haven’t had any major symptoms besides constipation and nausea ( sometimes for hours at a time). Is it possible that I am pregnant with no symptoms? I have read that when you are on the pill if you have any bleeding at all during the time of your period, you aren’t pregnant. Is this true? It’s been about 3 months now that this has been going on. Thank you!!

Sorry, I am going to be graphic. I was constipated, and hadn’t gone to the bathroom in over a week. I took 2 pills yesterday (thought they were stool softeners, and they were laxative pills). I was in the bathroom most of the night. Sure it was a relief, but after looking online- I found that I should absolutely not take laxatives. Now, he seems to be moving a lot more today. Should I be worried?

i try to eat fiber…
i usually eat frosted mini wheats for breakfast and a fiberone bar once a day. but i still only poop about 2 times a week. i dont want to use any kind of laxatives or pills.. what else can i do?
i run 3 or miles everyday also..

I’ve been on a high dose of oxycodone for a while now and have noticed that after a few days I became constipated. About this same time I notice that the pills have little or no effect at all. Unitl now, the only solution I’ve found is to stop the meds for a couple of days, wait for my bowels to start working, and then start again. That seems to work, but the pain in the interim is tough. I’ve gotten some tips on staying regular, which I’m going to start trying. Any other solutions?

Doing a health cleanse to detox my body – today I stepped it up to 2 morning pills and its slaying me. i just found some pills in my bathroom. they’re called "duane reade stimulant free fiber caplets" and it says "fiber laxative" underneath. means? will it make my metabolism work faster?

ok i missed a few pills and never took them a the right time because of a weird situation, but anyways… so after having some pregnancy symptoms (constipation dizziness nausea lower back pain bloating fatigue swollen sore breasts) *ive been on my innactive pills since sunday, started my period on tuesday*
i am now on my period. it came 2 days early(tuesday instead of thursday- it ALWAYS has came on a thursday) but today when i went to change my tampon i noticed that it was dark brown… almost black. i didnt keep my tampon in too long (only like… 4 hours MAYBE) i was just wondering if i should go to the walk in and get it checked out tomorrow or if this is normal. could i be pregnant? Miscarriage? any other things? im just really confused.. i still feel really nausious(sp?) and my stomach is very bloated(i look like im preggo) and semi hard. im still constipated, however now i am burping ALL the time and a little vomit ALWAYS seems to come up… and i have gas. someone… anyone help!! has anyone else had this happen… im really scared..

Because I have severe back problems and all the medications I must take each day , causes severe constipation.Recently I had to take a urine test because it was put in my record that I may be using Methodone. Que? I think I know what I mean. Veggies and fruit are better for your insides than pills. What do you think? Which do you prefer? I bought them because I need more fiber in my diet. I just ate one yesterday and I had really bad gas and had to go to the restroom a lot with some stomach cramps. Not even laxative pills to this to me.
Does this only happen to people who dont eat enough fiber to begin with
