My husband is having a colonoscopy and wants a natural laxative.

I eat healthy most of the time. But sometimes I slip and eat junk food. If for instance, if I eat really bad during the day or dinner time, but I drink black forest tea (Which is a natural laxative or digestive), will this help me not gain the extra pounds from the rubbish I ate? And if it does, how often can I do this? Will it digest my food too quickly to get all the required nutrients from my meals?
I don’t want to throw up. I wouldn’t do this all the time either. But will it help me lose weight?

I have been drinking prune juice, a big glass, daily for about 4 days. However it only made me have to use the bathroom the first 2 days, after that it just gave me very gassy. Am i developing a tolerance for the natural laxative in prune juice? or do i just not have to poop at the moment?

I have been diagnosed with weak bowels before and have now been constipated for a long time, haven’t been to the toilet ‘properly’ with normal…effects in about 2 weeks. My stomache feels really hard too. I’ve been drinking looooads of water and eating a lot of fruit, but didn’t change my diet any way beforehand to cause the constipation.

I drank some Dieter’s Tea that was supposedly a natural laxative. I stupidly had two cups, and now I am having excruciating stomach pains and I’m not sure what to do.
