Today, I wanted to alert you to something will afflict 40% of the adult population (or more) at some point of their lives. It’s called hemorrhoids or piles and it’s basically any form of vein inflammation around the lower rectal regions. Blood on your toilet paper? Itching in your anus area? Pain during constipation? All of these are likely signs that you may have hemorrhoids and it’s no laughing matter because although common, they can be annoying and embarrassing. In the more severe stages, they can fall out like a lump outside your bottom. So what are some common mistakes that people make which contribute to developing this common condition? Even if you have these already, avoiding the following 3 mistakes can start relieving the problem gradually. Mistake #1: Eating too much processed food This can be a toughie for some people. However, it’s known that processed foods create harder stool and troubles in digestion. This creates constipation and other issues which can lead to hemorrhoids. The key here, especially when you are suffering and trying to cure hemorrhoids, is to lower your intake of processed sugars and foods. Mistake #2: Sedentary lifestyle A lot of long term sitting can create additional pressure on the bottom area and this invokes the perfect environment for a hemorrhoid to occur if combined with a sharp force such as constipation or …

Symptoms:- Constipation, Feeling sick, Heartburn, Period like cramps, Pains in abdominal area, Sicky feeling in abdominal area, Pains, Pains in chest, Bloated, Sharp stabbing pains in chest and throat
This has gone on for nearly a year and for a few months I got blood in my stool but that might have been from strain. I’ve been to doctors plenty of times they’ve took blood test and did a test that would have supposedly shown if I had anything like cancer but everything was normal and they did an eye test. The doctor reassured me I’m healthy theres nothing wrong and give me laxatives but this isn’t working and it keeps coming back I can’t eat much without feeling sick or getting discomfort whats wrong? And can these tests really show everything as doctors say? I’ve always had problems with this area since I was younger I’d catch water infections all the time and get bad gas and constipation problems after meals. Once I was taken into hospital in alot of pain they gave gastric medicine

1976 Commercials: Geritol to Phillips Milk of Magnesia These late 1976 ABC commercials are quite rough, but were dubbed in the best possible quality. 1. Hamilton Beach Crock Watcher (They’re cooking dinner? Now that’s a crock!) 5. M&Ms (yes, I actually remember this ad and that guy in yellow still scares me!) 6. Cadillac Seville for 1977 7. any advice on treatment of a bladder infection in a 20 month old?
daughter is on antibiotics for bladder infection, just wondering if there is anything i can do at home to help while the medicine goes to work. She also has recurring constipation and very mild dehydration due to vomitting, but does not seem to want to drink very much at all.
Very strange symptoms. What happened?
So, I hope none of my contacts will see that question; I really need help with some symptom that persists since february: constipation. Not also, but I noticed undigested material in the stool. What is the cause? I’ve been several times at the doctor, but they refused colonoscopy due to my age. I’m 17. I follow many medicine treatments, but nothing happens. Thanks.
I was sent once to ultrasounds. They also said I don’t need a colonoscopy, cause I’m to young for severe bowel problems.
I drink juice instead of water, is it good as water?

Is there any possible way of treatment for fish constipation?
We’ve tried everything. We changed her water, we’ve given her salt, we changed her filter, we feed her thawed frozen peas, we’ve given he ick medicine which is supposedly supposed to help the fish. She is a 8 year old coy (5-6 inches long and is a 20 gallon tank with filters and a bubble maker) and she hasn’t eaten in more than a week. Is there any treatment we can give her? She looks absolutely miserable. She swims on her side and is turning pale. We have to prop her up with a rockish type thing. Could we take her to the vet, could they help?!!? We bought another fish to help her. His name is Kevin and he props her up when she tips over and he helps her a lot, but not enough. Please help! Were desperate!!!!!!!
stomich/constipation problems?
My dad has had a few symptoms for a while. He went to the doctor months ago and they said nothing was wrong. His symptoms are constipation (its been on and off for a few months), his stomich is bloated and kind of hard, and his back was hurting. He went to the doctor yesterday and they said they are 98 % sure its not colon cancer. They told him his back pain was coming from the constipation. They took an x ray and they said it was backed up bad but it wasn’t too terrible. He has to have a cat scan done and than they have to stick that tube up his butt later on. They didn’t say what was wrong with him because they dont know yet. But since he took the medicine the bloating has gone down and he used the bathroom really good this morning and he said his back feels alot better. I’m really worried because I love him more than anything. He is my hero and we do almost everything together. What do you think is wrong with him?
Medical Doctors Only (constipation) help please
Hey docs, I’ve been constipated since march and I’ve tried all that i could to get relief. Benefiber and better diets have helped me but not to the full extent. I know that exercising and eating better will help but it hasn’t worked for me completely. I still strain and its hard for me to let loose. The only actual medicine I tried taking was Exlax but had to stop because i didnt want my body to become dependant on it. I’m a 16 year old female on anti-depressants. I’m on the new Emsam Anti-Depressiant Patch. I’ve increased my dosage of the patch around the same time I started getting the symptoms of constipation. Do you guys think my patch is the problem? Please give me feedback on your possible explainations.
thxs =)
My Grandfather (80) Has been struggling from SEVERE constipation. PLEASE HELP!!?
He has Parkinson disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and a heart condition. He takes several medications a day including pain pills for his back. I know the pain pills can cause constipation, but not to the extremity of it now. He uses enemas, and laxatives, including sorbitol (for severe constipation) and it seems nothing is helping. He occasionally uses hemorrhoid cream as well. He eats lots of T.V dinners, soups, sausage, and processed meats. His diet is horrible, but he is having trouble cooking for himself. He also sits at home in his chair and watches T.V most of the day and has trouble getting any exercise because of his deteriorating muscles. He is week and nauseous most of the time. I am getting ready to move in with him to care for him and am wondering if there is a certain diet that may help, or if it will require treatment from a physician. We have been to several doctors and all they do is change his medicine around. PLEASE I AM DESPERATE!! He needs help.
Betta constipation and fungus?
First we’ll start off with his first problem…I just don’t know what to do about oscar’s (crowntail betta) constipation. I’ve changed up what he eats from blood worms to pellets…i just gave him a pea (which he actually ate) I’ve fasted him and his belly just won’t go down. Ok then I took him to petsmart because i started seeing fuzz on his fins..they weren’t too worried about his belly because they said theyve seen worse and told me to keep doing what im doing..they told me to get this all natural medicine for the fungus and he seemed fine until the 4th day of treatment..(fungus is still very there).when i saw that he just laid in the roots of the peace lily and swam up only for air then goes back down i knew something was wrong…very unlike him . after that I immediately isolated him out of the medicated bowl and into clean water w/condi he got better atleast i think so but someone help! he’s losing his color… im scared!

What would be a good stool softener for a cat?
Sometimes she seems to have a hard time going to the bathroom and will go on the floor instead….when i clean it up I can tell it’s very hard, so I imagine it’s uncomfortable. It’s not always like that, just occasionaly. She will NOT eat hairball medicine. I have hairball treats and food to help with hair digestion, but is there something more I can give her? That also wont give her diarhhea (sp, i know..) since this isnt a constant issue?
thank you for all the help so far…like i said, she will not eat any of the hairball medicine from the tubes (laxatone included, regardless of flavor)…I will try the pumpkin stuff…thank you!! ![]()
Can taking a stool softener and pain medication be harmful?
If taken at the same time, can it be harmful?
I mean taking one of each pill at the same time, by the way.
And the stool softener is over-the-counter, the pain medicine is prescription.
What is wrong with me? Symptoms include: Constipation, trouble breathing, numbness, muscle cramps…?
Ok I will start at the beginning of the week, for lunch I had some frozen Salmon fillets and some mini tacos for lunch. Within 30-40 minutes I needed to go to the bathroom, The stool was loose but not really fairly solid. Within 30 more minutes I was getting stomach pains that I needed to go again, but couldn’t because of what I was doing at the time, so I had to hold it, after about an hour, I was able to visit a restroom and go. It felt like I was going to go a lot, but when got there it felt like hardly anything came out, so not a lot of relief. Within another hour I felt the need to go again, so I did and same thing, barely anything would come out. Though now what did come out was diarhea. This happened for the rest of the night and the next day, about every hour or so I had to go really bad but then hardly anything would come out. Well the next day, which was a Tuesday I took medicine and it took care of the problem. But for the next day and a half I could not go at all. I thought everything was fine and I was done, but then Thursday night I started feelin a bit odd. Breathing was a little bit harder and I kept getting minor muscle cramps in my arms and then I had the all too familiar stomach cramps again and had to go again and this time the stool was fairly muddy. But that was really the last time the stomach cramps were around. Friday during the day I felt all right, but Friday night I started getting the trouble breathing and the arm cramps again, but then my lips went a little bit numb. I could feel them and everything but they still were a little bit numb, and I would get slight numbness in my fingers, which would come and go. I occasionally got very light headache like pain too. Saturday I woke up and felt fine, but as the day progressed the same symptoms from Friday slowly came back. By 10:00 PM they were all there except the numb lips was very faint to non existent. Now today, Sunday I woke up and felt ok, then now tonight I am feeling the same symptoms again as Saturday. I am also still constipated for the most part. Has anyone heard of this or experienced it. I did not know if the stomach problems were related, but since they happened only a few days prior I included them.
I will include that I am overweight, have high blood pressure and Asthma.
Can anyone help me figure this out. All I feel like doing when I get home at night is going to sleep so that I will feel better in the morning.
Does food poisoning last that long? and can it skip a day and a half of feeling bad? Forgot to mention, other than a bag of chips and a candy bar, it was like 7 hours or more since I had eaten anything on Friday when the lip numbness happened. I was tested for diabetes last year and they said I was fine.
I also drink a lot of caffeine in a day, I do not know if that makes a difference. Usually between 4 and 6 cans of soda a day. Usually all diet soda, but occasionally a non diet one.
I know, I should go to the doctor, but my copay is really high and I don’t like going and finding out nothing is wrong or that it would have cleared up on its own in a day or two. Because that has happened before. But I did plan on making an appointment tomorrow, I just wanted to get some input anyway.

Has anybody tried acupuncture to treat feline constipation?
My cat suffers from megacolon and the vet has prescribed many different treatment options. I’ve tried everything – some stuff works and others don’t. Although laxatives work, I want to stop using harsh drugs like that.
Has anyone tried acupuncture or eastern medicine? I want to try a new alternative vet but the first visit costs 0. It’s very expensive and I don’t want to waste my money if it’s a sham. If it does work, how often will the cat need further acupuncture treatments?
