Well, the days before my period It seems that I get really constipated. I tried eating extra fiber, but that doesn’t seem to be helping. I tried drinking more water, but that doesn’t help either. Can anyone tell me how to relieve it without laxatives?

how can i relieve constipation with out useing store bought laxitives? Has anybody heard about using aloe gel. i have some of that but i dont want to be the first to try it. any advise would help.

I have tried everything from drinking more water, eating plenty of fiber, drinking coffee, exercising. I have also tried metamucil, fibercon, and Miralax. However nothing seems to help. Does any one have any other suggestions or experience with this?

I started a new diet and exercise program and have been getting stopped up every since. I thought exercise helped that…. AND I eat a lot of fruits, grains and veggies so I know that isnt my problem

okay this is really embarssing but all the time before i get my period i get constipatied. I haven’t been able to go to the bathroom in 2 days and i am getting sick of the blotting and nasty feeling. i was wondering what is a quick easy way to relieve constipation I have a very high fiber diet and exercise 2 hours every day but this still happens right before that time of month

I heard somewhere that rubbing a small amount of peroxide or rubbing alcohol (I can’t remember which one it is) around your anus can help you have a bowel movement. I heard that some people use it not just for constipation, but just for a good cleaning out, like if they just ate a whole bunch of cheese or something. Is this true, and is it safe?

My brother had brain surgery Oct 12, and was let out of the hospital Oct 19. He was given pain medication but has been having problems going since then. Since he had brain surgery he cant strain himself going so not only does he have that issue, but he can’t go at all.
Does anyone know any natural laxatives (obviously water) that could help. He hasn’t been able to go in a couple of days, so something good.

Stomach is easily bloated with gas and constipated after the op. Have avoided gas producing foods but still windy. Please help. Although it has been 6 months after the operation, but i still feel sick due to bloaty stomach.

Ive been very backed up this past week and have tried practically everything to relieve my constipation. I just saw our shopvac in the garage (which you use to vacuum out car) would this work at relieving my constipation. can i just use regular lubrication for inserting the nozzle?

this has been going on for over a week now. shes a two year old pug. i havent done anything different. still walking her adn feeding her the same food.

I have been constipated the past 6 days and have tried everything to relieve it. I was going to try using the shopvac in our garage that we use to vacuum the car. Will this work? Do i need special lubricant for the shopvac nozzle insertion?

I had a minor surgery which involves me taking Tylenol 3 which is making me really constipated. I drink prune juice but it isn’t working. Any tips would be GREAT! thanks

Is there good exercises to relive constipation.When im travelling or when ever alters my routine work or When im in stress,specially when it closer to exams I get constipation frequently.Im using lactulose and plenty of water to relieve it.But other than using medication,Is there a way by doing exercises which I can relieve constipation.If there is where can I find the steps of them.

My dog is a german shepard doberman rotweiller, and he as about 75 pounds. He’s not that big of a dog, but he’s not small. He seems to be constipated, and I would like to know how to get rid of it. Thanks for the advice everyone!

Well, that is what breeds my dog has in him. He is just a mutt. But he is 9 years old, and we have had him for 8 and a half years.

when you guys have constipation does it come out that day or you have to go the next day?

because when im constipated the poo reaces half way and it hurts alot should i just relax or strain becaus eim afraid of it becoming stuck halfway and not going out ;\

I feel so bloated and sick, and I havent been able to dump in like 3-4 days, except this one little rock hard turd that really hurt. I am desperate, but dont have any extra money to buy laxatives, so I need something I can use around the house (That won’t leave it smelling like cow dookey for a month) . Anyone have any good suggestions, I need to poop so badly?
I can smell the stench of my own farts, so that’s no problem. But when I actually dump a #2 in the toilet it’s as if Germany dropped a stank bomb right over my trailor. Ugh.

anyone know of or had experience with a laxative that quickly and unpainfully relieved constipation?

im a vegeterian and its wierd how this problem hasnt gone away . i drink A LOT of water, eat fruit exersice daily (everyday ) and i stay off of junk food so why is this problem still here ?

I am Australian mates. I have tried eggs, curry and beer but they make me feel hollow inside mate. What should I do next? Will a pair of ripe avocados help?
