guys you have to help me! I am in Georgia right now, I live in NH I am on a vaca here. anyway it’s the second night here. it’s 4am and I can’t get to sleep. my back hurts real bad, I have a lot of nausea, chills, hot and cold flashes and I think I may have a fever! do all of these symptoms point to constipation? if so how can I get regular again? please help me, I want to die!!!

This is a bit of an embarrassing question, but I don’t know if I am constipated or not. Here are the symptoms:

-I have not gone to the bathroom for almost a week, and when I did go, only little round shaped stools came out.
-When I try to go, it kind of hurts.
-I have to admit, I really need to improve my diet.

I was reading up on line the different causes of abnormal vaginal/uterine bleeding, and I saw under symptoms that constipation is one of the causes? There was no explainaiton of this, it was just listed. Has anyone ever heard that, and if so, what would that mean, that there is some kinda of excessive pressure from a bowel obstruction?

I have been sick for about a year now. In January of 2010 I was diagnosed with low platelets. I was told it was "ITP" but with all of my symptoms I find it highly unlikely that I just have that. I have hypoglycemia, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, muscle pain, hair loss, anxiety, constipation, fatigue and mild depression. I also can feel my pulse when I lay down, usually at night and sometimes my cheeks get red, for no reason. I have been tested for lupus, results were normal. In fact, I have been tested for a lot. My doctor recently did 2 blood test to see what my thyroid levels were like, and those results were normal too. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis runs in my family, and I know that there are more tests that can be done to establish whether I have it or not. I am most concerned about the heart palpitations. It happens every day, even when I do something as simple as getting out of bed. Going up stairs makes it pretty bad too. Does anyone else have these problems? I have had a EKG and will have a 24-48 hr halter monitor put on next week. Anybody with hashimoto’s have bad heart palpitations and if so when did they occur?

I’m about 9-10dpo today and ovulated last Monday (I felt it). Since then, I’ve had the following "symptoms":

Tender/sensitive breasts (they just started tingling and having shooting pains yesterday)
lower back pain (like menstrual pain)
intermittent cramping and abdominal discomfort
headaches
fatigue
heartburn
mild constipation

I don’t get PMS symptoms until about 1-2 days prior to AF coming and she’s not due until next Tuesday or Wednesday. I had a m/c back in October 2006 but have been fairly regular in my cycles since then. My doc sort of suspected a UTI, because I had one in December, but I do not have the frequent urge to urinate like I did then. HPTs have come up negative but I believe it may have been too early.

i just finished having diarhhea for like 5 days in a row and now I can’t crap, i’ve been trying for 20 minutes now. and It makes me upset adn i’m crying now

My friend came to me and told me these symptoms and I was wondering what it is.
Symptoms:
Constipation
When they do have a bowel movement it hurts
Bleeding when they have a bowel movement
It seems that it clogs the toilet
Change of breath(Dr.Oz said change of breath could be a sign of some kind of cancer)
She has had a change of diet and excersie
Please tell me if these signs mean anything

It started a couple days after I had a lot to drink. (one bottle of wine and 2 beers in a few hours). I think it’s related to the alcohol. Other symptoms include constipation with sudden diarrhea and an occasional rumbling in my stomach. The pain feels like it may be getting worse after eating. Don’t tell me to go to a doctor cuz I have no insurance.

I have alot of other symptoms. Like headaches, Constipation, fatigue, bigger breast (they dont hurt just bigger) having to pee alot more etc. I have also been bloated. These are all signs of a period also. I am going to take a test today but I just wanted to see if any of you ladies had swollen fingers as a early sign? Thanks for your help

My mom has started taking this medication for neck pain and has had these symptoms. She believes that it is from the nerve problems in her neck and I think that it is the medication. I had severe problems after i had a tumor removed from my spinal cord and I believe that is why she thinks the nerves could be the problem. What do you think? Thanks.

I’m 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant and just yesterday morning I started having diarrhea. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom or is it something I should be worried about? I’m still able to eat (even though I feel nauseous) and I’m keeping fluids down. I’m not throwing up or anything. Also I’m having stomach cramps but I hear this normal too because of my uterus stretching.
This is my first pregnancy so I’m just wondering if the diarrhea is a pg symptom, just like constipation.
I took some Imodium AD today and that is helping. I know that is ok for me to take because it was on the list the dr’s office gave me.

Having a lot of symptoms, boobs hurt, major constipation just started(I NEVER HAVE CONSTIPATION) high soft cervix as well, little sickly feeling at night. How common is it for a girl to test negative 3 days after her period is suppose to start? Then find out later she is. Help!

Just wondering if someone could give me some symptoms for being diabetic. Also can bowel problems (constipation, diarrhea) be part of this?
Can pains in the stomach along with feeling ill also be because of this?

Ok…So this all started around October…Here are my symptoms!

*Constipation has increased lately, and very bloated, to the point where my stomach feels as though it will burst open…
*At random I will get extreme pain in my chest, mostly under my ribcage, mostly on the left side!
*I wake up at night with this, sometimes throughout the day, and sometimes it is really bad, and others it is something I can handle
*I am often doubled over with this
*It varies on the amount of time I have this
*Sometimes around my shoulder blades hurt
*I get a lot of lower back pain
*I get really nauseas and dizzy
*My neck will get really sore, almost as though it is stiff

&& the list goes on! This all happens at the same time!

I think it might be gallbladder, but my doctor said "ITS MOST LIKELY STRESS RELATED"…I don’t think this pain has ANYTHING to do with stress mmmkay?

It just really hurts often, and I dunno what to do!
PLEASE help me…:(((

Are these following pregnancy symptoms: Heartburn, constipation, weight gain (and not just Holiday weight gain either, I’ve pretty much watched what I ate) I’ve been tired through out the day, but at night I have a little trouble getting to sleep, but I get my full 8 hours if not MORE. I get a little nauseated and a little tummy ache after I eat.
Yeah, I know to take a test, but I haven’t missed my period yet, because it hasn’t been my time yet.
I just want to know if some of you have went through the same thing with your pregnancy?

so im having wierd symptoms and awful constipation i know im sorry tmi but really and the past 2 days i been havning really bad stomache aches well not so much aches as discomfort i had my period on nov 14th for like 2 days then it stopped then a few weeks ago i had spotting for like a few hours wats the deal i have taken 2 tests both negative one a few weeks ago and one yesterday could there still be a chankce im preganant ?

The most common symptoms of Endometriosis are:

Hi, i am 6dpo and i’m having constipation and bloated, and have back aches that feel crampy!! Please help, i don’t ever have pms symptoms till i start and i’m not suppose to start till oct 7. took a ovulation test on the 22 of sept, positive for lh surge, had unprotected sex on 23 and 25! Just wondering if anyone else had these symptoms in early pregnancy, and when could you find out with a test. Thanks

i have been having symptoms of throwing up,constipation,diarreah, weight loss, tiredness, headaches on and off, chills, irratible, stomach pain, on my right side,bloating,gas, and a few other symptoms my last shunt revission was in 1995

Ok I had intercourse on July 24 and i had recently finished my period. August came and i was supposed to get my period on the 18th but nothing. And now its almost gonna be two months of my missed period. I’ve had no symptoms besides constipation recently but I believe that occurs more far into the pregnancy, so can i be pregnant?
He used protection…
oh and I have taken two pregnancy tests and they both came out negative.. I jus think its weird because its gonna be two months already

I’ve heard of the symptomless pregnancy and all different kinds of symptoms…. Is there any there’s-no-getting-out-of symptoms? like constipation or the peeing alot thing? cuz i mean i’d think that the baby putting pressure against the bladder would make you pee alot and you probably wouldn’t be able to get out of that…. are there any OTHER symptoms that you can’t get out of?

Okay, my symptoms are:
-Gas
-Constipation/ sometimes diarrhea
-frequent urination
- stomach cramps
-fullness in stomach
-very fatigue

Anyways, I got a test done to check to see if I was pregnant, diabetes or had low iron, because I’m breastfeeding right now as well. Everything came back normal, my thyroid was a little high, but they said it was nothing to worry about. I also have had IBS for quite some time now, and have a very sensitive stomach to dairy. I have the worst gas, and bloating. The most annoying symptom is fatigue, it’s so bad, I can hardly stay up. I literally wake up, have a shower and then within an hour, I’m tired again, and feel like I have to lay down. This is especially difficult because I’m a new mom, and, I don’t have energy. Although, the fatigue doesn’t last all day, I can go out and go for a walk, but after that I would be so drained. This is why I thought I was pregnant, but I’m now, and now I’m left here to wonder until Wednesday, that’s when my drs. appointment is.
What do you think this could be? I’m only 22 years old, and I’m scared it’s cancer or something. I haven’t lost a huge amount of weight, I’ve been eating lots, I was actually eating more then I should because I thought I was iron deficient, so I ate lots of good iron rich foods. Does anyone know what this could be, or has anyone had similar symptoms??

I’ve had an uneractive thyroid for 8 months now and i recently was told to put my dose up and i’ve now been on 75mcg of thyroxine for 4 weeks and there has been no improvement in my symptoms at all, i still have bad hair loss and freezing cold hands and feet, constipation etc.. So i was wondering how long it will be before they go because i think i’m on the right dose now.

Since the weekend, or around that time, I’ve been experiencing a sore throat, and a extreme loss of appetite, (Odd considering I used to eat like there was no-one else to eat it), which was what my colds usually contain. (With the appetite thing, I do get hungry, but as soon as I think of food or smell it, I feel sick) but since the weekend, i’ve been experiencing Constipation AND Diarrhea at the same time, it’s really annoying me, I can’t excrete. but when I do, it’s all runny, does anyone know any medical stuff I can use to help get myself better, or anything I can do like stay warm etc, etc,

Alright my lil bro just got appendicits, he suffered from constipation. Now before you get the appendicitis is constipation the first symptom or does pain come first. I am kinda scared of getting it, cuz like now that i feel a bit constipated i can’t help but think that its my appendicitis blocked please help i need answers!

There are no other symptoms. No bleeding, constipation or diarhea. This has been happening on and off for about a month. Worse after eating.
Have had hysterectomy.

I’m a woman trying to lose weight. Currently, I’m training pretty hard for a triathlon (swimming, biking, running). My weight has not gone down (I’m currently 115 lbs at 5′2). I’ve also been on a colon cleanse which I’ve recently stopped. My lower abdomen (right below belly button) is unusually distended. It’s not fat, it’s bloat and a lot of it. My stools have been rather runny lately, but when they are not, they have been difficult to come out. I’ve further read that using laxatives (which I did with the colon cleanse) can cause constipation. One of the symptoms of constipation is, ironically, diarrhea. Constipation, of course, causes bloating. I’ve also read that too many crunches and other ab work can also push up the muscle underneath the fat and cause you to look fatter. Last night, I took my last dose of the colon cleanse stuff and I also worked my abs really hard. I’m thinking this combination has left me abnormally bloated. So my question is: how do I lose the bloat?

I work with a lot of women, I went off my birth control in October and seemed to have my own period schedule every 35-36 days. I had an odd period in December, pretty sure I was pregnant went to go to the doctors and started a HARD ap probably the most painful, long heavy period I have ever had. The doctor thinks it was a miscarriage.

SO my next AF was due 3/1 or 3/2, so far a no show. My bbt says I ovulated on those days, well come to find out my coworker ovulated on those days, do you think it’s possible I am following her all of a sudden, she has a very regular 28 day cycle. Or do you think I’m probably messed up from the miscarriage? We did baby dance when we thought I was ovulating, and we baby danced when it said I was ovulating so I’m not sure what to think. Took a test on Sunday morning and it was negative.

I do have some symptoms, constipation, nausea occasionally, dizzy spells, increased urination, fatigue etc. I’m not imagining it cause I really thought my AF was coming, I mean going ot the bathroom with supplies cause I thought it was coming…

I been Constipation for the last 2 weeks and been using latative. I don’t know why but I don’t get the urge to have a bowel movement anymore any reasons you guys can think of to? I been drinking a good amount of water and the last 3 days I been taking fiber tablets and eating healthy. I do stay up all night and sleep during the day but I been doing that for years now so it shouldn’t be that right? I’m ready to go to the doctor if no one can help me. What medical problem could causes this because I honest don’t think its my diet and living habits.I also been having alot more gas then ever. I been having really bad gas but no urge of bowel movement but my mother tells me passing gas is a good sign meaning things are moving but does not seem that way.
